Haller Foundation  

Building Capacity at Haller's Training and Research Centre in Kenya:

Haller's training and research centre provides local communities with disease resistant seeds, fish and livestock, and works with farmers to mitigate the risks associated with climate change. This project will support the training programme and provide infrastructure upgrades including the transition from diesel to solar power. 

£38,000 over two years.


Lorna Young Foundation 

Farmers Voice Radio:

This Farmers Voice Radio project will involve the set-up, production and broadcasting of radio programmes that improve the knowledge and practice of 5,000 coffee farmers in Jimma, Ethiopia. This project is a collaboration between LYF, Rainforest Alliance (RA) and Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU).

£40,000 over two years.
